Project: Branch and ATM service integration.
Result: CIT cost saving by integrating routes that service both branches and ATM's.
Problem Statement (Complexity):
Branches and ATM's get supplied with cash from external areas (more than 200km away) at high logistic fees.
By recycling cash in the determined areas, logistic fees for providing cash can be reduced.
Should the customer pay per schedule or a fixed fee for a dedicated vehicle.
The Improvement Project provided the following:
Four areas were identified for Branch and ATM integration.
Total saving of R2.5 million.
Dedicated vehicles were proposed instead of a pay per service agreement.
